Season-Ending Injury for Tsugahara Ota

The season is apparently over for Tsugahara Ota. The Delaware 1787 BC medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4-5 months with radial nerve compression. Ota was hurt in the game against Chicago while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.

On the season Ota has delivered 2 saves in 24 relief appearances. He has 25 strikeouts in 31.1 innings with a 5.17 ERA and a 4-2 mark.
