Laredo Clinches Wild Card Tuesday, September 8th, 2037 As the clock struck midnight in the Laredo Hawks clubhouse, the celebration showed no signs of slowing down. The Hawks were certainly ready to celebrate their USSL Single A wild card berth. "It's time to let off a little steam after a grind of a season," said third baseman Keith Pick. "We may act a bit like teenagers tonight celebrating, but we'll be back to being big leaguers tomorrow." With a 56-41 record, Laredo will be seeking its 3rd USSL Single A championship. |
