Flores Fires No-Hitter Against Chicago Thursday, July 9th, 2037 Syracuse is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Ramón Flores. The 22-year-old hurler was dominating against the Chicago Tula, leading the Storm to a 6-0 win at Ramblers Ballpark today. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Chicago manager Mike Evans said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Flores had 7 strikeouts and gave up no walks en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Flores said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today." In 12 starts this season Flores has crafted a 7-4 record with a 3.38 ERA.
