Colombo of Mancelona Crowned Best Player Monday, July 6th, 2037 The USSL Single A has selected its Player of the Week. The honor went to Luigino Colombo, center fielder of the Mancelona Torch. In a standout performance, he lit up the league with a .611 average to win the award. Colombo went 11-for-18 for the week, totaled no home runs with 4 RBIs and scored 4 times. For the season Colombo has produced 46 hits in 157 at-bats for a .293 average with 2 home runs and gotten on base at a .325 clip. |
