3A's #1 Player Named Monday, August 24th, 2037 So far in his young career, Antoine Studdard has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Idaho Falls Chukars second baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. In 72 games this season Studdard is batting .352 with 100 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 41 runs and driven in 45. |
