Messer's Season Could be Over Sunday, August 9th, 2037 A blow for Jacob Messer today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11 months with a damaged elbow ligament. Messer suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Belleville Bulls are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Messer's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year Messer has a 3-6 record with a 3.45 ERA in 14 starts. |
