BC Darryl Edwards to Miss Year Saturday, July 25th, 2037 The season is finished for Darryl Edwards of the Put-In-Bay BC. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The BC shortstop suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Athletic Club KC U-24. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal. This season Edwards is batting .249 with 59 hits, 1 home run, 13 RBIs, 13 walks, .298 OBP and has scored 26 runs. He has played in 60 games. |
