Idaho Falls-Grand Forks Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, July 4th, 2037 Antoine Studdard of the Idaho Falls Chukars and Martin van der Veen of the Grand Forks Caterpillars will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Chukars-Caterpillars game at Idaho Falls Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Studdard and van der Veen will begin serving them soon. So far this season Studdard has hit .298 with 5 home runs, 26 RBIs and scored 23 times. For the season van der Veen has compiled a 3-1 record with a 2.53 ERA. |
