Carson Helps Dirty Reds Run Win Streak to 4
|
The San Mateo Dirty Reds topped the Buckhead Bowties by the score of 10-0, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Dylan Carson. Carson was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Dirty Reds. Tom McKee got the win, improving to 4-7. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. San Mateo has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
The Dirty Reds picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
Said losing manager Kerry Hofmeister: "Give the Dirty Reds credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
