The Panama City Piranhas moved to within one game of the Round 2039 today, downing the Hollywood Shredders on the road at The Hollywood Bowl by a score of 4-2. Piranhas first baseman Arturo Scantlebury was named player of the game after he was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The win gives the Piranhas a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2038.

The game turned with two out in the top of the sixth when Scantlebury hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Piranhas into the lead, 4-1.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Piranhas manager Brian Talamante said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."
