Torres, Lynx Sink Humpbacks Again in Game 2
Riding the 2-hit performance of right fielder Gabriel Torres, the Calgary Lynx got a road win against the Alaskan Humpbacks, 8-5, in Game 2 of the PL AAA Championship today. Torres was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times for the Lynx, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.

Calgary used the bat of Sergio Cruz to capture the win. The left fielder jacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lynx ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"Feels good to get the job done," Cruz said after the game.

Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday, September 24th, 2037 in Calgary. The scheduled starters for the game are Sasheer Zamata for Alaskan and António Marés for Calgary.
