Thunder Bay left fielder Joe Aller was the key at Great Northern Field today, being named player of the game as he powered the Northern Lions BC to victory in a critical Game of the Silver League Championship. The Northern Lions BC took the 6-4 win over the Athletic Club KC to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

The Northern Lions BC took a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. Facing Athletic Club KC hurler Ton Jobse with one out, Aller hit a 3-run home run.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Aller. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
