Fans who gathered at Hound Pound saw a good contest between the Amarillo Warheads and Hicksville Hounds.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Amarillo Warheads and the Hicksville Hounds, Shigochiyo Tanaka was the difference-maker. The Amarillo left-hander earned player of the game honors in the 1-0 win. Tanaka, now 10-2, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Peter Kossan nailed down his 7th save.
