Baby Blues Get Win, Extend Streak to 5
|
Baby Blues pitcher Andy Potter put his stamp on his team's 7-3 win over the Tulsa Otters. Potter threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs for Quebec City in the contest. Picking up the save was Mike Park, his 24th. Quebec City now has a 5-game win streak.
Quebec City used a timely hit from Ji-hyun Yi to get the win. The shortstop delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the first inning to put the Baby Blues on top, 5-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Quebec City manager Tony Romero.
