Extra-Inning Win by Baby Blues over Fire

Behind a solid performance from first baseman Paul Pitts, the Quebec City Baby Blues defeated the Franklin Fire, 2-1. Pitts went 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk for the Baby Blues. Quebec City reliever Mike Park picked up the win to move to 7-2. José Rivera suffered the loss. After today's action, Quebec City sits at 53-40, while Franklin falls to 29-64.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the tenth, until Pitts delivered big-time for Quebec City, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off José Rivera. The game-changing hit put the Baby Blues on top, 2-1.
"I'm glad this one's going in the books as a 'W'," Pitts said.
