Despite a great performance by Franklin center fielder Nick McGhee, the Quebec City Baby Blues defeated the Fire by the score of 6-4 at Dylan Park. McGhee was 3-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. Mark Taylor got credit for the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 3.1 innings. The Baby Blues now own a record of 52-40.

Seoul, South Korea-born Ji-hyun Yi came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Baby Blues trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to right to put Quebec City on top.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Yi.
