Montgomery played host to Quebec City at the friendly confines of Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium.
Despite a great performance by Quebec City designated hitter Mark Bakker, the Montgomery Biscuits defeated the Baby Blues by the score of 4-2 at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Bakker was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. Hisanobu Yamashita picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-3. Mark Taylor was tagged with the loss.
Montgomery grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Guillermo Sánchez delivered a 2-run double, to make it 4-2 in favor of the Biscuits.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Sánchez.
Montgomery has run its win streak to 7 in a row.
