Extra-Inning Win by Hotspur over Oaks
|
The Phoenix Hotspur and Oakland Oaks played an exciting game at Oakland Coliseum.
Phoenix Hotspur starter Jorge Otero was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Oakland Oaks, 4-2. The winner was Ryan Peterson in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Anthony Ledesma took the loss.
Late-game drama came in the top of the 12th inning. With one out and a runner on 2nd, the batter, Lopahin Davletyarov, hit a single. It helped Phoenix seize the win.
"It was terrific getting this win," Davletyarov said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
The third-place Hotspur have won 4 straight.
