Gibtown starter Poto Boldrini pitched effectively against the Redwood Rhinos at Wrigley Field. The left-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. Gibtown is now 37-30.
Christian Cole, who leads the 3R in RBI with 41, aided the Gibtown cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Redwood skipper Kyle Myers.
