Baby Lakers Rally to Eke Out Win
The Bompton Baby Lakers faced a tough opponent in Northwest Territory pitcher Shan-bo Kang, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Field of the Browns by a final score of 5-4. Kang went 5 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Bompton reliever Chun-mei Bao picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Adam Durango absorbed the loss. Bompton is third in the Menard's R with a record of 27-18.

Denny Wolfe had a nice at-bat for the Baby Lakers with no one out in the bottom of the 13th. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the shortstop drew a walk, which would prove important in the Bompton win.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Wolfe said.
