Rhinos Come Back Late to Clip Warheads

Amarillo pitcher Alberto López gave the Rhinos all they could handle, but in the end, Redwood left Ballpark of Henderson with a 6-4 win. López allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 5.2 innings. Carlos Guadarrama got credit for the save for Redwood. It was his 1st of the year. The Rhinos, now 17-15, have won 4 in a row.
Had Robby Sinor not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Sinor hit a 2-run double. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Rhinos.
"The vibe's good," said Redwood manager Kyle Myers. "We've got to keep it going."
