Victory Over Elephants Takes Amarillo to 15-7
The Amarillo Warheads grabbed a 6-0 win over the Gibtown Elephants at Wrigley Field. Amarillo designated hitter António Hierro was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Amarillo reliever Ryan Robertson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. António Morales took the loss. At 15-7, the Warheads find themselves in second place in the Menard's R.

Hierro came through with some timely hitting for Amarillo. With the score 0-0 in the top of the fifth and one down, Hierro hit a 1-1 fastball for a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season made it 1-0, Amarillo.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Hierro, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
