Pinto goes 3-for-4 as 1837 BBC Squeeze Past Northern Virginia
Houston left fielder José Pinto had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-6 win over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids. The winner was Houston reliever Robinson Suárez, now 1-0. The loser was Tom King. José Ledezma locked down his 7th save.

Pinto contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Houston in the bottom of the sixth. With his team trailing 6-3, Pinto took a cutter from Tom King and stroked the home run to left. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the 1837 BBC to leap in front, 7-6.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Pinto said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The 8th-place 1837 BBC have won 4 straight games.
