The 2037 season is off to a good start for the Bompton Baby Lakers. The hometown Baby Lakers knocked off the Gibtown Elephants, 2-1, at Field of the Browns. Bompton pitcher Francisco Esposo was named player of the game.
Bompton took a 2-1 lead on Jason Logan's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Gibtown pitcher Mauro Rangel in the bottom of the tenth.
"We had a chance to win," said Gibtown manager Philippe Parmentier, "but we didn't get it done."
