The Tulsa Otters got a superb performance from pitcher Larry Ramírez. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Montgomery. The Biscuits won the game, 6-5. In spite of the loss, Ramírez was named the player of the game. He came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters . Montgomery is now 32-29.
Fraser Childs had a big run-scoring single for the Biscuits in the top of the fourth inning. With Montgomery leading 5-2 and a runner on 3rd, he got a fastball from Mike Bennett and stroked the single to center. It was his 57th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Biscuits ahead, 6-2.
"I felt good up there," said Childs. "I saw the ball well."
