Biscuits Come Back Late to Top Baby Blues

The Montgomery Biscuits took Quebec City pitcher Justin Frederick's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Dylan Park. The final score had Montgomery getting past the Baby Blues, 4-2. Frederick went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 3. The win was Iwao Inoue's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Sylvain Richard took the loss for Quebec City. Chao Khu got credit for the save for Montgomery. It was his 10th of the year.
Montgomery used the timely hitting of Jorge Muñóz to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Biscuits on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Muñóz.
The Biscuits improve their record to 25-26 with the win over Quebec City.
