The Franklin Fire relied on the hitting of right fielder Alois Malik to stop the Tulsa Otters, 5-4. For the game, Malik was 2 for 2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Fire now have a record of 15-31 with the win over Tulsa.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when second baseman Jorge Mateu, who is tied for 8th in the SR in triples with 2, hit a single. The Fire went on to win.
