|
Montgomery Biscuits starter Toshinobu Nakamura was in fine form against the Ballard Beavers at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, leading his team to a 6-4 win. In 8 innings, Nakamura surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. He allowed 4 runs. Montgomery is in 6th place in the Silver R with a record of 23-23.
Chris Carson had a big run-scoring single for the Biscuits in the bottom of the third inning. With Montgomery leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Vas Atepko and stroked the single to left. It was his 35th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Biscuits ahead, 4-2.
