Montgomery rode a fine outing from starter Juan Franco to victory over the Capital Hill Interns at Alouettes Ballpark. The final score was 3-1. Chao Khu, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save. At 15-16, Montgomery is in 7th place in the Silver R.
Roy Osmond aided the Montgomery cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles.
