It was a good time at Field of the Sunchasers, where fans came to watch the Montgomery Biscuits and Ballard Beavers get after it.

Ballard right-hander Mei Zhào pitched his team to a shutout win, 4-0, over the Montgomery Biscuits. The winning pitcher was Zhào, now 3-0. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 9.

Ballard shortstop Cody Scott contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball into right-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 20th hit of the season and put the Beavers ahead, 1-0.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Scott.

The Beavers go to 14-13, putting them 6th in the Silver R.
