The Quebec City Baby Blues picked up a win at The Igloo, knocking off the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 2-0. Starting pitcher Jesús Ríos played a key role in the triumph. Earning his 6th save of the year was Mike Park. The Baby Blues have an impressive 17-10 record.

Quebec City used the clutch hitting of Paul Pitts to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Ríos said.
