Ellesmere Island Snowpeople starter Jordon Glen Anderson was in fine form against the Montgomery Biscuits at The Igloo, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Ellesmere Island reliever Pancho Covarrubias picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Hisanobu Yamashita was collared with the loss. The 8th-place Snowpeople raised their record to 9-12.

Ellesmere Island took the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Joe Havermeyer stroked a run-scoring double to make it 3-2, Snowpeople.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Anderson told the Ellesmere Island Bulletin.
