Multi-HR Day for Dixon as Revolution Overpower Blaze, 3-2

The York Revolution bested the South Beach Blaze, 3-2, at The Ballpark on the Beach. Bryant Dixon was named player of the game. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win was Jeffery Johnston's in relief. His record improves to 2-7. Mark Hicks took the loss for South Beach. Juichi Kanno notched his 11th save in 11 chances.
Dixon had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch curveball from Mark Hicks, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Revolution a 3-2 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Dixon.
"We played hard and won," said Dixon. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
The Revolution, at 45-51, sit in 8th place in the Premier A.
