Revolution Top Mango to Even Record

The York Revolution picked up a win at Mango Yard, knocking off the Provo Mango, 6-4. On the mound for York was left-hander Trevor Bowden, who played a pivotal role in the win. Bowden went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 1-0. Juichi Kanno got the save, the 7th for him this season.
It could have been a different outcome for York, had it not been for Bryant Dixon, the 23-year old second baseman . Dixon contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put York up, 2-0.
"I liked his command," said York manager Jared Gilbert. "Trevor was throwing strikes."
At 38-38, the Revolution find themselves in 5th place in the Premier A.
