Seahawks Topple Walleye with Late Rally
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Myrtle Beach Seahawks and the Walla Walla Walleye, Josh Hall was the difference-maker. The Myrtle Beach right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 2-0 win. Myrtle Beach now has a 3-game win streak.
Myrtle Beach used the timely hitting of Juan Fuentes to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Seahawks on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Hall.
