Revolution Fall to Waxley, Guzzlers
The Galesburg Guzzlers topped the York Revolution, 8-6, with youngster Brock Waxley playing a key role. Waxley was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Guzzlers in the win. Jason Poulter, credited with the win, is now 2-7. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits in 6.1 innings. Brant Mielke picked up the save, his 2nd.

The Guzzlers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the first. With no one out, Manny Dedo hit a 2-run home run off Gerhard Karge, putting Galesburg in front, 2-1. For Dedo, it was his 5th home run of the season.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Dedo told reporters after the game.

The win puts the Guzzlers at 23-48, while the Revolution drop to 36-35.
