York pitcher Juichi Kanno did his part in helping his team beat the Walla Walla Walleye, 2-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Kanno, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 3 walks. The Revolution bumped their record to 26-26 with this latest triumph.

The Revolution got a big at-bat from first baseman Rod Sarkies. For the game, Sarkies went 2-3 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 31st hit of the season gave York a 2-1 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Sarkies told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
