Mango Pick Up 4-1 Win

The Ballpark on the Beach was the site for USPL Single A action featuring the South Beach Blaze and Provo Mango.
William Bruce pitched well, but the South Beach Blaze still lost the game, falling 4-1 to the Provo Mango at The Ballpark on the Beach. Henry Burge picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. William Bruce was tagged with the loss. Takejiro Masuda earned the save for Provo, his 10th of the year.
It could have been a different outcome for Provo, had it not been for Ding-bong Wang, the slick-fielding center fielder . Wang contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fifth inning to put Provo up, 1-0.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Wang said after the game.
At 30-19, Provo is in third place in the Premier A.
