The Galesburg Guzzlers got a superb performance from pitcher Kuberabandhu Kasturirangan, but the Myrtle Beach Seahawks still won the game, 6-5. Kasturirangan was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball. The 9th-place Seahawks improved to 9-13.

Myrtle Beach used the timely hitting of Tora Tora to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Seahawks on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Tora. "And not try to do too much."
