Primorac belts 2 home runs, Chiefs Move to 8-5
The Caldwell Chiefs trumped the South Beach Blaze, 4-0, at The Ballpark on the Beach. Caldwell first baseman Josip Primorac was named player of the game for his performance. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Lloyd Stinson earned the win for Caldwell. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing no earned runs on 1 hit, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 1-2. The win brings the Chiefs to 8-5, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Caldwell took a 4-0 lead on Primorac's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Bing-zhong Qiu in the top of the eighth, propelled Caldwell to the win.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Primorac said after the game.
