Alameda Field was the site of a competitive game between the Alameda Airmen and Mancelona Torch.

The Mancelona Torch got a strong performance from pitcher Lucas Gameiro, who stymied the Alameda offense en route to a 2-0 win at Alameda Field. Mancelona is 50-46 and Alameda, with the loss, 51-45.

Mancelona used the timely hitting of Enrique Flores to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Torch on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Mancelona manager Charles Schmidt.
