Expos Hapless Against Hawks, Román
|
Laredo and Niagara Falls duked it out at Waterfall Park and the Hawks came out victorious.
The Laredo Hawks went home winners at Waterfall Park, thanks in large part to starter Emílio Román. Román silenced the Niagara Falls Expos, enabling Laredo to grab the 3-0 win. Laredo, now 39-34, holds third place in the Silver A.
Román scattered 3 hits over 7 innings for the Hawks. With the win, Román moves to 8-5 on the year with 65 strikeouts.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Román said.
