Airmen Beat Generals in 10
The Alameda Airmen topped the Washington Generals by the score of 8-7, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Tokaji Heida. Heida went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs for the Airmen. Alameda reliever Batu Khan picked up the win to move to 3-1. Sergio Rivas suffered the loss. Alameda, at 35-32, occupies 4th place in the Silver A.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Alameda left fielder Pedro Montoya, facing Sergio Rivas, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Airmen the 8-7 win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Montoya.
