Dominant Performance by Sánchez in Washington Win
|
Washington right-hander Pablo Sánchez was sensational in shutting out the Niagara Falls Expos, 6-0. Washington, now 30-32, holds 7th place in the Silver A.
Sánchez tossed 105 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Generals. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 11 strikeouts in the game.
"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Sánchez. "And vice-versa."
