Expos Sneak Past Dragoons, 7-6

The Niagara Falls Expos beat the Louisiana Dragoons, 7-6, at Waterfall Park. The Expos got a fine performance from right fielder Mfiondu Kabengele, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Niagara Falls reliever Alfonso Hadalgo picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-4. Patrick Carlson was collared with the loss. With the win, Niagara Falls goes to 24-35, while the Dragoons fall to 27-32.
Kabengele had a game-changing single in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Gregory Powers, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Expos a 7-6 lead. It was the 46th hit of the year for Kabengele.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Kabengele told the Niagara Falls Bulletin.
