Late Rally by Storm Secures Win
The Storm grabbed a win, 3-2, at Storm Park, overcoming a fine effort from Niagara Falls pitcher Mike Hess. Hess went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Freddy Estrada got credit for the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.2 innings. Syracuse occupies 4th place in the Silver A at 30-26.

Kent Maxwell was the walk-off hero for Syracuse. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Storm designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Maxwell. "And not try to do too much."
