Generals Turn Back Syracuse, 5-4
|
Washington Generals starter Cédric Dupré was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Syracuse Storm, 5-4. The Generals, at 20-22, sit in 8th place in the Silver A.
Francisco Alhama was a prime contributor to the Washington win. He went 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the top prospect hit a 2-run single. It made the score 5-3, in favor of the Generals.
"Getting the win feels nice," said Alhama. "More importantly, I had a good game."
