A 3-RBI performance from left fielder Luigino Colombo led the Mancelona Torch to a 8-1 win over the Chicago Tula. Yong-oon Cho locked down his 3rd save. The Torch saw their win-loss record go to 19-21. At the same time, the Tula fell to 22-18.

Colombo came through with some timely hitting for Mancelona. With the score 0-0 in the top of the third and one down, Colombo hit a 2-1 cutter for a run-scoring single. His 34th hit of the season made it 1-0, Mancelona.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Colombo told the Mancelona Gazette.
