The Niagara Falls Expos overcame a good performance by Washington designated hitter Nick Harper to knock off Washington, 9-3, at Waterfall Park. Harper was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Enrique Durán recorded his 1st save for Niagara Falls. With the win, Niagara Falls goes to 11-17, while the Generals fall to 15-13.

Gary Bruce, the Niagara Falls left fielder, contributed a 2-run double in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 3-0, Expos. For the game, Bruce went 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Bruce told reporters after the game.
