The Niagara Falls Expos scored a 3-2 win versus the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark. Niagara Falls pitcher Edison Carter nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Niagara Falls reliever Sean Miranda picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Ken Fulton Jr. shouldered the loss. Earning his 5th save of the year was Alfonso Hadalgo.
It could have been a different outcome for Niagara Falls, had it not been for Sincere Wushon David, the 20-year old first baseman . David contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Niagara Falls up, 3-2.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Chicago manager Mike Evans.
With the win, Niagara Falls goes to 10-15, while the Tula fall to 11-14.
